Molly lived in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally when she was a teenager in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show included The Snow Queen. Then, she played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated for a Barrymore Award. It was recast by Molly when she was able to make her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. She received a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly also appeared on Broadway for the revival in Fiddler on the Roof. Following her graduation from Princeton University, where she received an B.A. in Religion, and became a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. in Religion.
